Far and away the best part of our vacation (6 hour private climbing). Chris and Doug were absolutely amazing with our kids and the adults! They got my wife and I climbing up to places neither of us thought we could. Worth every penny, can't wait to return.
We had an incredible experience with our guides Ryan and Chris. They were great with our kids (ages 8 and 10). My youngest was very nervous to try some of the routes. Chris helped her get started on an easy route that gave her the confidence to try all the others. They were great about assessing all of our abilities and making sure we all had a challenge, but not so much that we couldn't climb. This was our favorite activity that we did while on vacation. They were also extremely safe, checking our gear and their own gear before every single climb.
As a group of a 7 y/o who proved to be a bit afraid of climbing very high, an adult female who was afraid of heights, and 2 adult males (with slightly varying fitness abilities), all 4 of us had a great time. Our guide Brandon was extremely patient and able to challenge all of us and make us all feel like we really accomplished something! The area we climbed was challenging enough without being too challenging, and offered great views. None of us had ever rock climbed on real rocks before, but yet we felt extremely safe the whole time. As a company, they were extremely flexible with us making a last minute reservation. This is easily my number 1 suggestion for a thing to do while in the area!
