My family took Sylvan's beginning rock climbing class and I would recommend it 100%! We have an 11 and 14 year old and my husband and I felt assured that safety was Sylvan's priority. Our instructor, Ryan did a terrific job explaining techniques at an understandable pace and was very patient. He made sure we mastered each progression before moving on so we didn't feel rushed into the next level. We were all confidently climbing 50 feet by the end of our class. You couldn't ask for a more picturesque, safe, well-organized, and fun experience for the whole family. Thanks, Ryan and Sylvan Climbing School!

Learning to climb outdoors was amazing with a guide like Ryan in a setting as beautiful as Sylvan Lake. The challenge was perfect. I loved that my son learned how to climb safely with the help of his guide. This picture makes me think that what is a beginner climber today might be a skilled guide in the future! We had a great time climbing with Jeff at Sylvan Rocks Climbing School. The company is really well run and you can tell that they are fully invested in making sure you have a great time. The owners are guides themselves so they do everything they can to make sure you feel safe, challenged, and satisfied with your experience. We even went out during an unseasonably snowy day in September and had a blast. Highly recommended!
