My husband and I used Sylvan Rocks climbing school for a lesson at Palisades State Park. We had limited climbing experience, but our instructor, Jeff, did an amazing job. My husband and I had different comfort levels on the rocks, but Jeff was still able to keep us both engaged. He pushed our limits without making us feel uncomfortable. Jeff's passion for the sport is evident and only surpassed by his passion to teach it. You 'rock' Jeff 😁! I cannot recommend enough!
Friendly, fun, down to earth people. Booked a three day rock climbing tour of the Black Hills. My experience was custom tailored to me and Brandon made sure I was comfortable climbing every route, we made a game plan each day. Even before traveling to SD he made sure things were in place and communicated any questions or issues I had. Stellar customer service and guiding! I can not thank them enough for helping me become a better climber and for a life time experience I will never forget. Will book again. Great experience! My wife and I have not done any outdoor climbing, but were willing to be challenged! We started on a fun climb up Beer and Pretzels overlooking Sylvan Lake! Jeff did a great job at understanding our skill levels and accommodating climbs to both push us, allow us to learn, and most of all enjoy our time! I would definitely recommend this experience. We are excited to climb more now that we have some skills to work with and are excited to climb again when we visit the Black Hills next time. Big thanks again to Jeff for being so professional, knowledgeable, and answering all our questions. Get out there and climb some crystals in the beautiful Black Hills!! :).
